July 24, 2008Recently I preached on Acts 11:1-18. I was struck by how Peter – often conveyed as a preacher in Acts – is here presented as Peter the pastor.

I guess I’ll have to listen to your application when I get home from work, but the pastoral role isn’t obvious to me in this passage. Peter seems to be functioning more as an apostle and prophet/visionary, no?
