  1. I have found the website, monergism.com, to be an invaluable resource with a dizzying breadth and depth of material. And, they are rolling out a brand new site next week that is promising to be better-than-ever.

Thanks for your ministry through this blog brother.

  2. Hello!

Have you visited thebibletool.com? It is a great website for word studies. If you click the word in English, it gives you the Greek transliteration and Strong’s information.

Then…if you click “Search for [Strong's #] in NASB” it displays to you like a concordance all of the usages of that Greek or Hebrew word.

It should prove useful for those who cannot afford Bible software!

  3. The Blue Letter Bible is another useful online resource for those who “cannot afford Bible software”.

Although for those who cannot afford Bible software, there is also:

    The Sword Project: http://www.crosswire.org/sword/index.jsp

    ESword: http://www.e-sword.net/

and the venerable (I first used it in 1989!) OnLine Bible: Europse - http://www.onlinebible.org/ and USA/Canada - http://www.onlinebible.net/

All of them are quite useful electronic Bible packages, and some of them are cross-platform.

  4. http://www.bible.org has some good “Pastoral Helps,” including some sermon illustrations (http://www.bible.org/illus.php) and is the home of the NET Bible, with its great translation notes.

RE: Greek (wwww.regreek.com) is another great site giving access to the Greek NT, including a gloss and parsing (formerly http://www.zhubert.com).

E-Sword was mentioned. It is good, being free and through it I have multiple Bible versions on my pocket PC, including the Greek.

  5. Gunny, thanks for that link - regreek. Haven’t seen that one before.
