Fond Farewell

July 27, 2009

After the bitter-sweet experience of leaving Charlotte Baptist Chapel today, departing from a church is not something I want to do too often!  We love the church, thank God for it, and pray for grace upon grace to be poured out upon it. Here are some photo highlights from our farewell service, courtesy of Andrew Robertson.

  1. Wow Colin, that’s an awfully THICK Bible you use for preaching! ;)

Just curious: what Bible version and publisher?

Blessings to you and your family in Northern Ireland.

  2. Colin,

Have been praying for you as you transition to the ministry in N. Ireland. God has prepared you for this specific time to be in Ballymoney. I hope that the physical move will be easy for you and your family.

  3. It’s sad though because pastors don’t stya long in churches anymore. Oh for the perseverance of faithfulness to grace our churches once again!

  4. Oh my…I wanted to cry at your farewell photo’s and I’m not even a church member..let alone live in Scotland! God bless you as you serve God in Balleymoney :)
